| Features |
| Asianet's state-wide cable network originates out of "Dish farms" at strategically located Head-end stations where satellite TV signals are received and processed before transmission through professional-grade cable and allied equipments. The network, built in technical collaboration with Pan Asian Systems of Hutchison Whampoa, Hong Kong, uses the best hardware available from global sources. Network expansion is guided by computer-aided design. A major part of the network has reverse-flow capability required for data traffic, internet and other future services. A unique power-pass system with battery-backed UPS is also implemented on the network to eliminate downtime even during power failures. |
